We have successfully deployed value-add strategies across residential, multi-family residential and office scheme developments, which continue to consistently deliver superior returns.Our directors are professionals with a combined 45 years’ experience in finance, stockbroking and construction. We pride ourselves on taking a hands-on approach, executing our strategies directly through our construction team while also working closely with our joint venture and contracted partners.
We are skilled at identifying key investment opportunities in the property sector. To date, our investment strategies have led to the profitable acquisition of 800 residential development plots in Dublin and a portfolio of multi-family residential units containing over 400 apartments and growing.
This enterprise is funded through our own resources and those of our funding partners. We have worked with several high-profile partners, including family offices, high net-worth individuals and credit and private equity funds.
Having worked at the top level of leading stockbroking firms, Peter co-founded Lugus Capital in 2013. On a day to day basis, he oversees the Operations and Finance functions in Lugus Capital and its associated companies.
Having worked at Goldman Sachs and Davy for 12 years, Tim co-founded Lugus Capital in 2013. Tim manages the Investment and Research functions in Lugus Capital and its associated companies.
David joined Lugus Capital from Goldman Sachs in September 2021, where he was Managing Director in the real estate principal investment business. Previously, David held roles at Apollo’s asset management business, Lapithus, and AREA Property Partners. On a day-to-day basis, David is responsible for the investment and management of Commercial Real Estate assets.
Roger joined Lugus Capital in October 2021 as Head of Commercial Property & Asset Management.
Roger has 22 years’ experience in commercial asset management and joins from Harcourt Developments which is one of Ireland’s largest privately owned property companies.
In his time at Harcourt Developments, he was responsible for the asset management of in excess of 4 million sq.ft of retail space across 6 shopping centres. Roger was also responsible for the asset management of Park West, Ireland’s largest business campus with in excess of 1 million sq.ft of office space and 4 million sq.ft of industrial space.
Roger is a qualified Surveyor with a BSc in Property Studies from DIT Bolton Street.
Derek is a chartered Surveyor, with a degree in Real Estate Management and over eight years’ experience in the property industry. He is an experienced Asset Manager and has managed a number of portfolios of properties on behalf of large investment funds. He is skilled in negotiations, commercial and residential lettings, real estate appraisal, and sales.
Having joined Lugus Capital in July 2017, Gavin is responsible for financial and management reporting to a range of stakeholders invested in the residential sector. Previously, he worked for LSH Dublin, where he was responsible for all financial and client reporting.
Dearbhla spent over five years in asset management, managing receiverships and disposal strategies for a loan-servicing firm on behalf of numerous clients with pillar bank experience.
Having joined the company in early 2019, Dearbhla now oversees all residential operations on behalf of Lugus Capital and its associated companies.
Having trained as a Building Surveyor, Chris was previously a Director of Property Management specialising in capital project coordination.
He now co-ordinates external professional consultants, providing technical management and process guidance to development team, ensuring successful delivery of product.
Teresa joined the company in late 2018 with a background in construction administration, project management, contracts and financial construction supervision.
Her current role with the company is Project Monitor and helps to ensure the successful and timely delivery of the finished product.
9Sylwia launched her career in the property management sector in 2013, having worked previously in Residential Block Management.
In 2018, Sylwia graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology with a Higher Certificate in Property and Facility Management. Currently, Sylwia is working as a Lettings Negotiator with Belgrave Property Management.
Previously having worked in the property sector for both DNG and KPMG, Lena has joined Belgrave Property Management as a Senior Administrator. She is responsible for the day to day management of lease processing, tenant move-ins and rent reviews.
At Lugus Capital, as Construction Project Manager, Sean is responsible for the management of a variety of assignments, ranging from complete refurbishments to commercial tenant fit-outs.
With almost three decades of practical experience in the construction industry and having worked with some of Ireland’s leading developers, Sean has built both domestic and commercial properties for major development companies and private clients.
Conor joined Belgrave Property Management in March 2019 having previously worked for Lambert Smith Hampton, Dublin.
In his current role, he is responsible for financial management, reporting to a range of stakeholders invested in the property sector.
Paddy joins Lugus Capital as an Investment Manager. Paddy is responsible for monitoring projects throughout the entire investment period including review of asset performance, asset management analysis for decision making and recommending divestment strategies.
Paddy brings to the role experience in origination and execution of transactions, running financial models, preparing investment memos, market research, due diligence, financial analysis, forecasts and feasibilities for developments.
Heading up the delivery of all new construction projects, Joseph brings with him extensive experience in the delivery of major construction projects. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 15 years experience in the Irish construction industry, Joseph prides himself on his ability to get design and construction teams working together to deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
Bennary joined Lugus following a career in fashion, working with international brands such as Superdry and Tommy Hilfiger. She now plans the interiors for each apartment and selects all finishes, delivering the high standards expected of Grayling Properties.
Eoghan is a chartered accountant who completed his training with Deloitte. He has a background in financial services and the construction sector, both in Ireland and Australia. His current role is to oversee the financial reporting process of Lugus Capital and its group companies.
