Peter Horgan
Partner
Peter co-founded Lugus in 2013. He leads our Residential Operating and Development Platform, Grayling Properties. Grayling has grown into the leading independent end-to-end Residential Real Estate Operating Platform in Ireland. With more than 20 years’ combined experience in the property and investment sectors, Peter has an extensive background in every aspect of property development and management, including acquisitions, disposals, lease agreements, planning and project management.

Dearbhla Farrell
Principal
Dearbhla joined Lugus as Head of Operations in January 2019 and is responsible for overseeing the residential operations on behalf of Lugus and its associated companies. Dearbhla acts as the point of contact for client relations and reporting. In additional to residential operations, Dearbhla works closely on the client reporting on the Lugus Healthcare platform.

Tim Cahill
Partner
Tim co-founded Lugus in 2013, having previously worked at Goldman Sachs and Davy Stockbrokers for 12 years. On a day to day basis, Tim runs our Healthcare business which manages and operates assets across the sector and aims to be a leading player in the space over the coming years. Tim also helps run the Investment and Research functions in Lugus Capital and its associated companies.

David Hickey
Partner
David joined as a partner at Lugus in September 2021 and on a day-to-day basis is responsible for the investment and management Commercial Real Estate assets.  Prior to joining Lugus, David was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was a member of the leadership team in the Real Estate principal investment business.

Derek Connolly
Asset Manager
Derek joined Lugus as an asset manager in January 2018 and has over 13 years’ experience in the Residential and Commercial Real Estate sectors. His responsibilities include the management of portfolios on behalf of large investment funds and private family funds. He provides business strategy advice to clients to maximise portfolio value by overseeing operations, strategic planning and financial performance. Derek is skilled in negotiations, commercial and residential lettings, real estate appraisal, acquisitions, and disposals. Derek holds a Real Estate Degree and is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland & the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Eoghan Wherity
Principal
Eoghan joined as Head of Finance for Lugus in May 2019 and on a day-to-day basis is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process of Lugus and its group companies. Prior to Lugus, Eoghan completed his training with Deloitte Ireland and has worked in financial services both in Ireland and Australia for over 15 years across various industries.   Eoghan holds a Business Degree and Masters of Accounting and is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Ireland

Joseph O’Reilly
Development Manager
Heading up the delivery of all new construction projects, Joseph brings with him extensive experience in the delivery of major construction projects. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 15 years experience in the Irish construction industry, Joseph prides himself on his ability to get design and construction teams working together to deliver projects on schedule and on budget

Paddy MacDonagh
Principal
Paddy joined Lugus as an Investment Manager in early 2021 and leads the Investment Team. Paddy is responsible for monitoring projects throughout the entire investment life-cycle including review of asset performance, asset management analysis for decision making and recommending divestment strategies. Paddy brings to the role experience in origination and execution of transactions, running financial models, preparing investment memos, market research, due diligence, financial analysis, forecasts and feasibilities for developments.

Roger Dineen
Principal
Roger joined Lugus in October 2021 as Head of Commercial Property & Asset Management. Roger has 22 years’ experience in commercial asset management and joined from Harcourt Developments which is one of Ireland’s largest privately owned property companies. During his time at Harcourt Developments, he was responsible for the asset management of in excess of 4 million sq.ft of retail space across 6 shopping centres. Roger was also responsible for the asset management of Park West, Ireland’s largest business campus with in excess of 1 million sq.ft of office space and 4 million sq.ft of industrial space.

Keith Flynn
Development Manager
Keith joined the Lugus group as Development Manager is early 2022. He is responsible for the delivery of best-in-class construction projects that are delivered on time and within budget. He manages all aspects of the development cycle from initial due diligence to practical completion on-site. He coordinates design teams and manages stakeholder engagement. Keith holds a degree in Engineering from DCU and an MSc. In Real Estate from T.U.D. He has previously worked as a Development Manager with Lioncor Developments where he managed multiple residential and commercial developments. He also has extensive experience in the Mobile Telecoms industry.

Xinjia Lian
Investment Manager
Xinjia joined Lugus in January 2022 as an Investment Analyst. Xinjia focuses on quantitative analysis of deals, asset management and market research. Prior to joining Lugus, Xinjia worked in JLL Ireland, where he was an analyst in the capital market department. Previously Xinjia was in Amazon’s risk management team. Xinjia holds a degree in MSc. Quantitative Finance.

Chris Hall
Development Manager
Chris joined Lugus in 2017 as Development Manager. Chris is responsible for the coordination of external professional consultants, providing technical management and process guidance to the development team, ensuring successful delivery of product. Chris has a degree in Building Surveying and is particularly experienced in the refurbishment, renovation and repositioning of existing buildings. He has played a key role in our Pre 63 refurbishment strategy and in the delivery of our Rathmines House development. Prior to joining Lugus, Chris worked as a Director of Property Management specialising in Capital project Coordination.

Gavin Doyle
Financial reporting
Having joined Lugus in July 2017, Gavin is responsible for financial and management reporting to a range of stakeholders invested across Lugus Investment Strategies. Gavin is ACCA qualified and has previous experience with LSH Dublin, where he was responsible for all financial and client reporting.
